Important Notice from Ameren

Some of these dates have already passed, but several are coming this week and next.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Ameren Missouri has filed tariff sheets with the Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC)that would increase the company's electric service revenues by approximately $206 million. In its filing before the PSC, Ameren Missouri has stated that the main drivers of this rate increase request include new investment in Ameren Missouri's system, higher regional transmission operator charges, reduced revenues from Ameren Missouri's largest customer and reduced revenues due to reduced demand on Ameren Missouri's system.

The overall request would raise a typical residential customer's bill by approximately 7.77 percent, translating to lust more than an approximately $8.27 monthly increase. The permanent rate increase request, which is subject to regulatory approval, would take effect no later than May28, 2017. Ameren Missouri's rate filing also includes a request to continue its fuel adjustment clause in substantially its current form, which would, based on the customer's usage, continue to allow 95 percent of increases or decreases in net energy costs to be passed through to customers as a separate line item on customers' bills.
