Contribute to the Ellendale Blog

Anchor 1

The Ellendale Blog on the home page of this website is managed by the Communications Officer. The ENA would like the blog to be more than just meeting notes and announcements. And that is where your contributions come in.

The spirit of the blog is to inform the residents of Ellendale as well as to connect them to one another and the City. In general, we are looking for:

  • Public service announcements and awareness campaigns

  • Road construction, maintenance updates, and City project announcements

  • Nearby community-focused events

For the People of Ellendale series, we are also looking for Ellendale residents (and businesses) who are working to make lives better — who are doing good and deserve recognition for their efforts. People of Ellendale are…

  • Ellendale residents who received an award or commendation

  • Ellendale residents who lead or participate in a non-profit organization

  • Longtime Ellendale residents with stories to tell of the way it used to be

  • Ellendale businesses, telling their origin story and why they chose to locate in Ellendale

And you don't have to be a writer to contribute. If you need help formulating an article you can submit just an idea or a couple paragraphs of information and we will help with the rest. Or, you can completely write the article yourself. Click here to review and download the contribution guidelines. Use the Contact form above or send contributions to us via email.

With contributions from around the neighborhood, we can really make the Ellendale blog a good, informative, and entertaining read. Thank you for your interest and assistance.
